Wardrobe styling by Audrey K Robles
"Style comes from confidence"
Whether you're about high fashion with an edge or simplistic blend of comfort, your style is your style and not to be compared to anyone else, so finding who you are in fashion and learning the "How To" will give you the courage and motivation to put outfits together that reflect your personal style. The best clothes do more than cover. They express the wearer's personality and style.
The trick to looking fashionable is learning how to put outfits together and wearing those pieces that look your own, having your outside appearance match your inside voice and finding what works for you ie: your personality, body shape, occupation and lifestyle. It's the little twists on the trends that make the difference that create individuality and separate you from the fashion pack.
So what do you do if you don't know your style? Well that's where I, Audrey come in. There is an art to putting together the right outfit and creating the perfect wardrobe. As your personal wardrobe stylist, I assist you in discovering your personal look, teach you the fundamentals of how to shop and what stores to shop and give tips on how to gain confidence in dressing, especially the "Do and Don'ts" that take place in the fitting room. My services as a wardrobe stylist will bring it all together, including cleaning out your closets of old making room for the new. The styles you will find in my boutique (audrey * k) may offer just that. If not, we will venture out into the world of fashion searching for the perfect fits.
My talent is knowing how to bring out the best in my clients, helping them transform and boost their self-confidence, by not imposing my style but developing theirs and encouraging them to learn and ultimately take charge in choosing their style. There's no need to worry, this relationship is about trust, I invoke the code of honesty and discretion. You can rely on me to be firm yet polite with my suggestions. It's my desire and goal to see you graduate from my fashion school.

Here are a few tips to follow.
- Don't know your style? Flick through magazines and find a style icon you can be inspired by. Stars need to always look good as they are constantly followed! Some good choices are people like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Kate Winslet and Audrey Hepburn.
- Going shopping? Put your face on. Make-up is the thing that pulls it all together. Just a little foundation, blush (or bronzer) and lip gloss will help you feel better when you're trying on clothes. Shopping when you're having a good hair day also helps.
- What to buy? The best thing to do is to buy long-lasting pieces that will retain their class throughout seasons. Fashion changes quickly! Don't fill your wardrobe with things that won't be appropriate the same time next year. Go for the classic black silhouette dress that just needs accessories to change the look of the outfit. Find a jacket you love and create several work outfits around it. You'd be surprised at how many skirts and pants you can find that will go well with whatever jacket you choose.
